In order to help enforce a strong opening weekend, the MGM Marketing Team & Promotions Group West developed an integrated media stunt/guerilla campaign, including:

-The first ever tightrope walker,”walking tall” over Times Square in New York on opening day

-The 50′ Rock inflatable (produced by PGW), which sat atop the Westfield Shoppingtown Century City for the first week the movie premiered

-Teams of stilt walkers “walking tall” throughout high-traffic locations in Miami, New York and Los Angeles, along with street teams handing out flip-action books to promote the opening

Promotion managed by PGW and CEO Russ Jones.
