PGW for GSN: “Extreme Dodgeball” Mobile Arena

An ‘Extreme Dodgeball’ Branded Arena was conceptualized, designed and fabricated by Promotions Group West for GSN, the Game Show Network. PGW coordinated the Extreme Dodgeball Arena to be set up in unusual, high traffic, media-centric locations throughout New York City over the course of 5 days. PGW fabricated the Arena as an inflatable dodgeball arena that could be set up in minutes and moved to various locations per day.
PGW pitched the top rated morning shows, entertainment and sports related programs to cover the Extreme Dodgeball matches. GSN Publicity and PGW created newsworthy competitions between anchors/hosts of top rated shows and the competitors portraying the actual players from the show to reinforce the media interest. PGW also placed the arena in high foot traffic locations such as Chelsea Pier, South Street Seaport, and Times Square. Once in place, spectators were challenged to compete against one another in a high paced game of Extreme Dodgeball. Promotion managed by PGW and CEO Russ Jones.
